Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Opus Hotel in Yaletown while organizing a corporate retreat. Knowing I’d be juggling meetings and downtime, I was pleasantly surprised by the blend of comfort and practicality here. The hotel boasts an excellent 24-hour reception, which made check-in a breeze and provided support throughout my stay. With free Wi-Fi available in the rooms, it was easy to maintain connectivity while working remotely. I appreciated how each of our meeting rooms had clean linens transported in sealed bags, ensuring a neat environment for our discussions. Plus, the bar and lounge area offered a cozy space for informal brainstorming sessions over a pint. Location-wise, it couldn't be better. With a variety of eateries nearby, I could pop out for lunch whenever I wanted without straying too far from the action. On my downtime, I enjoyed the fitness centre to recharge before the next wave of meetings. The in-room breakfast option also made early mornings far easier. All in all, the Opus Hotel proved to be a solid choice for business travelers looking for comfort and convenience in a vibrant city. Well worth considering for your next retreat!
